Ksenia Kontomanoli

Assistant Choreographer / Multi-Media Designer

Ksenia is a multi-media artist whose work revolves around the beauty of the human body in movement, as well as the understanding of body politics in modern society.

A professional dancer herself, Ksenia was born in 1992, and graduated from the National School of Dance in 2017. Among others, she performed for Hellenic Dance Company, Lida Doumouliaka and Polina Evangelou while today she also works as a Pilates Instructor.

In parallel, she studied in UNIWA at the department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts where she graduated in 2021. For the years 2014-2020 she worked as a professional photographer & video editor but most importantly created her own dance film "Circa Diem" in 2021.

Thanks to her many capacities, Ksenia not only takes the role of the choreographer´s assistant in this team, but also offers her knowledge on light design, video editing and photography material.

Stavros Ikmpal

Dancer

Stavros - Alexandros Ikbal is an excellent graduate of the National School of Dance in Greece (KSOT). During his studies, he participated in KSOT’s ‘Open Studio - Black Box’ performances and in the production "Growing!" at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival dancing for Christos Papadopoulos and Andonis Foniadakis.

In 2017 he performed the piece “Moksha” by Jose Agudo for Dance Days
Chania 7 (DDC7) in collaboration with Mavin Khoo. In 2018 he worked with Arthrosis Dance Company of Penny Diamantopoulou and one year later he traveled to the USA as an assistant to the choreographer Christian Denice in Eisenhower Dance Detroit.

From 2019 to 2021 he lived and danced in Geneva with the Ballet Junior de Genève performing in repertoires of Hofesh Shechter, Roy Assaf, Barak Marshall, Emanuel Gat, Olivier Dubois, Sharon Eyal amongst others in theaters and festivals in Switzerland and France.
During this time he also collaborated with the choreographers Cathy Marston in the creation of "Moving, Still" and Marcos Morau for "Waltz".

In 2021 he started to work as a choreographer for the female choir “CHÓRES” in Athens,Greece and he has taught contempotary dance workshops in the professional department of the National School of Dance and the professional dancing school "Choros” of Maro Grigoriou.

Since 2022 Stavros is an official member of Lida´s team after the performance of "Kinetic Orchestra- The Sacrifice" in Zürich.

Eleftheria Iliopoulou

Dancer

Eleftheria Iliopoulou is an honors graduate of the Greek National School of Dance in Athens and the Department of Computer Science of the Athens University of Economics and Business. 

She has collaborated with Marianna Kavallieratos at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, with Alexandros Stavropoulos at Onassis Stegi, with Penny Diamantopoulou on the Martha Graham and Greek Myth project and with Lida Doumouliaka at the Theater der Künste in Zurich. She took part in the Rolex Arts Festival 2023 with Khoodia Thoure and in the Eleusis European Capital of Culture 2023, performing in Mysteries 0 and 113. In 2024 she collaborated with Gioele Coccia for Meteore Festival in Rome and with Lida Doumouliaka for the production Chase the Rabbit , winning “La Carte Blanche” at Incidance Fribourg Dance Festival, Switzerland. Also she collaborated with Giorgos Koutlis’s ΟξυγÏŒνοproduction for Onassis Stegi.

In 2020, she presented her first solo work Fighting Eagerly Against Reality [FEAR] at the 26th Kalamata Dance Festival. In 2024 she created and performed her second solo work “Fantastic, isn’t it?” for the 30th Kalamata Dance Festival and the Tanecno Dance Festival in Slovakia. 

She has been a performer with the “Farm in the Cave” International Theatre Studio in Prague since 2018. As a member of the Hellenic Dance Company, she has also danced for Anton Lachky, Antonis Foniadakis and the Fluxum Foundation. 

Eleftheria also teaches contemporary dance and utilizes improvisation as a way of studying the inner self and its interaction with the world. She believes that dance exists around us as an integral part of our reality.

Kostas Phoenix

Dancer

Kostas Phoenix began his journey in dance at the age of 12 with Break Dance. He graduated from the State School of Dance in Athens in 2016 and he's been working both in Greece and abroad ever since. He has collaborated with companies and choreographers including: the Gerhart Hauptmann Theatre in Germany, the Kennedy Muntanga Dance Theatre in the UK, Akram Khan in collaboration with Hellenic Dance Company, Aerites Dance Company led by Patricia Apergi and Adi Salant of Batseva.

He himself is inspired in his art by everyday human stories, the traditional dances of various cultures, martial arts, street dance styles etc. His diverse dancing backround offers an interesting input in Lida´s team in which he is an official member since their cooperation with the "Kinetic Orchestra", in Zürich.

Vassia Kolliou

Dancer

Vassia Kolliou graduated from the Greek National School of Dance with honors pass in 2016. She worked for Hellenic Dance Company for the production "Open Frontiers" performing repertoires of Akram Khan, Anton Lachky, Marta Graham, Jasmin Vardimon in Athens&Epidaurus Festival and many important Theatres such as The Megaron Music Hall of Athens and the Ancient Theatre of Herodus Atticus.

Since 2017 she has been a member of " Arthrosis Dance Company" of Penny Diamantopoulos and performed in Next@Graham Festival in New York and in Megaron Music Hall of Thessaloniki. She has cooperated with the Flux Dance Laboratory while in 2018-2019 she interpretated Jacques Offenbach´s Operetta under the direction of Isidoros Sideris for the performance named "Orheus in Hades". Vassia has attended workshops of many important choreographer around Europe and she is specialized in teaching Martha Graham technique.

In 2022 she worked together with Lida Doumouliaka for the piece "Kinetic Orchestra- The Sacrifice" in Zürich and she is official member of the team ever since.

Violleta Kotsi

Costume designer

Violeta is a fashion designer specialized in sewing and pattern cutting based in Athens, Greece. She studied Fashion Design and Construction at ”Pansik Fashion School '' in Athens, where she graduated having created a collection of her own. Violeta has attended many workshops around fashion, costume making, costume history and sustainability, and she was selected to represent her Fashion School at the workshop ”Fashioration Project- study of Balkan Costumes” supported by the European Union. Currently, she is working in Cristiana´s Vardakou brand of clothing, where she creates collections of loungewear and homeware with naturally dyed organic fabrics. Violeta made the costumes for Lida’s choreography ”Traces” for Hannover Choreographic Competition with great success and since then she is officially part of the team.
